Cardinal gymnastics team lose at Saline, earn 5th qualifying score

SALINE, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Lady Cardinal gymnastics team dropped a conference match up at Saline on Tuesday night 133.175 to 127.05. Coldwater earned their fifth straight qualifying score in the loss.
“We had to piece together a lineup because several of the girls sat out due to injury or illness,” explained Coach Kim Nichols.  “While we weren’t expecting the outcome, there wasn’t much else I could ask of the girls given the circumstances.”  Coldwater is now 2-1 in the conference.
Coldwater’s Abby Travelbee won on the uneven bars with a score of 8.15. Layla Schoch was second place with her mark of 8.125.
