CARB's periodic emissions testing program takes effect April 1

Carriers operating in the state will be required to have their trucks' emissions tested twice a year in program's first three years. Also: FMCSA leaves random drug testing rates unchanged; Distinguished Woman in Trucking Award nomination period opens.
