Tash Neal's recovery led to new songwriting direction

On March 12, Tash Neal releases his solo debut, “Charge it to the Game.” It’s not his first go-round releasing music; he’s issued a few killer albums with the New York City-based garage rock duo London Souls (who, you may or may not recall, opened for Joe Perry at then-Northern Lights in Clifton Park and thoroughly blew the axeman from Aerosmith off the stage). But this time, it’s different.
“It wasn’t ever my idea to start a band; I got into rock guitar when I was 14 after starting on classical guitar,” Neal said. “People thought I was all right enough to be in bands, but I never really thought of myself as a bandleader.
