After almost a decade as Captain America, Chris Evans bowed out as Steve Rogers in Avengers Endgame. Having gone back in time to marry Peggy Carter, Cap grew old with her until meeting Falcon again back in 2023. There the elderly Avenger handed over his shield to Sam Wilson, who is now expected to become Captain America after the events of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Disney+ show next month.
