ISLAMABAD: The capital saw an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases as 54 people were diagnosed with the disease on Thursday whereas two people passed away. The positivity ratio was 1.9pc.
The death of a female patient from the 70-79 age group was reported and death of a male patient from the 80-89 age group was reported. Both of them were residents of G-6 and G-13, officials of the capital administration said.
During the last 24 hours 2,808 tests were conducted in the capital and 54 people tested positive.
Meawhile, in Rawalpindi district one person died of Covid-19 and 17 people were diagnosed with the disease. Thirteen people were discharged from hospitals after recovery during the last 24 hours.
