Downtown Topeka will transform into a parade route this weekend as Topeka Family and Friend's Juneteenth committee hosts its inaugural parade.
The Juneteenth parade will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday. The parade will begin in front of Williams Magnet School, 1301 S.E. Monroe St., travel south to S.W. 17th St., turn north onto S. Kansas Ave and circle back to Williams Magnet.
