Most Canadians say the federal and provincial governments haven’t clearly communicated what a full post-pandemic reopening looks like, according to a new Mainstreet Research poll.
The results of Mainstreet’s telephone survey, conducted May 21 to 23, come over a year into the COVID-19 pandemic, with vaccine rollouts in full swing and reopenings on the horizon.
When asked if federal and provincial health officials have clearly communicated what a full, post-COVID reopening would look like, 58.7 per cent of respondents said no. Another 23.8 per cent said they weren’t sure, and 17.6 per cent said yes.
