The city of Springfield is primed to rebound economically and get back its “mojo” that had been going strong before the pandemic struck a year ago, municipal leaders say.
Despite the hardships of 2020 including business closings and some stalled economic development projects, there were still successes and steps taken to foster a much-improved economic outlook in the new year, according to Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and chief development officer Timothy T. Sheehan.
