Cameo bosses hope to form part of Richard Carr's Bournemouth development

THE operators of Bournemouth’s Cameo nightclub have revealed they hope to form part of the huge new development planned for their current site.
REKOM UK operates Cameo & Myu and is one of a number of businesses which will be affected by developer Richard Carr’s plans for the Glen Fern House site.
The site, with frontages on Glen Fern Road and Fir Vale Road in Bournemouth town centre, is currently home to Cameo & Myu, the Norwegian Wood Cafe, Oasis Fun and a multi-storey car park.
But Mr Carr, the well-known Chief Executive of developer Fortitudo, has revealed ambitious plans to demolish the current building to make way for what he describes as “ground-breaking” facilities.
