BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Nostalgic LSU basketball fans who are starting to compare freshman Cam Thomas to another fabulous freshman certainly remember what he did to Florida in his SEC debut against the Gators.
On Dec. 10, 1988, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, whose name was Chris Jackson at the time, scored 53 of the Tigers’ 111 points in Gainesville.
Thomas, who just scorched the nets for 32 in his SEC debut at home against Texas A&M, is set to go down to Gainesville for a Saturday afternoon matchup.
