ABARES has released its latest outlook for the Australian Seafood Industry at this week's conference, and production is expected to recover from the shock of the past year.
COVID-19 hit the seafood industry early when Australian lobsters and abalone had their markets to China cut off, and then the lockdown caused havoc to the industry.
The closure of pubs , clubs and restaurants left the industry high and dry with regard to marketing, but ABARES says the recovery is underway.
