Call The Midwifefans can expect a Christmas special that's "a little bit different" this year, two of its stars have promised.

This Morning with hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford to discuss the upcoming festive special episode for the BBC drama.
"It's been amazing – this is our ninth one and every year that we do them we never expect it to become a staple," McGann said. "You never dream or imagine that you're going to have that privilege and that duty, too, to be something that people turn to on Christmas Day.
