California surgeon pleads guilty in sober living fraud case

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A surgeon and his girlfriend have pleaded guilty in an insurance fraud scheme that involved recruiting patients at Southern California sober living homes to undergo unnecessary surgeries and other procedures.
