A DEVELOPER is encouraging house buyers in Trafford region to look into the benefits of buying new — and seeing how much they could save on their energy bills.
At a time when families across the UK are keen to ensure that every penny counts, house hunters could save hundreds of pounds a year on energy bills if they choose a new-build home over an equivalent older property.
According to a report from the Home Builders Federation (HBF), running costs in new homes are far lower. Thanks to the development of efficient and eco-friendly home building technology, new homeowners can save around 60% each year on heating costs – the most expensive utility. That equates to over £440 pounds worth of savings on heating costs alone each year.
