Bus strike: Karnataka estimates revenue loss of Rs 152 crore

Bengaluru, April 14 : With the Karnataka Transport Corporation Employee League's (KSRTEL) indefinite strike entering the eighth day, the state transport department on Wednesday estimated that its revenue loss was Rs 152 crore since the strike began on April 7.
According to the joint statement released by the four state owned transport corporations, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) incurred a revenue loss of Rs 70 crore, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) Rs 20 crore, North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) Rs 30.5 crore and North East Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NEKRTC) Rs 31.5 crore.
