Farmer Karamjit Singh has fitted the body of a bus on the trolley to create resting space for fellow farmers and carry essential items
LUDHIANA: A tractor attached with body of a bus has become a major attraction on the road to Delhi as many people in Machhiwara and Samrala were surprised to see such a modification. Its owner — farmer Karamjit Singh of Vajidpur in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district — along with his acquaintances was on the way to Singhu border to join the farmers’ tractor rally on Republic Day. This modified tractor was part of a convoy of around 200 tractors of Doaba Kisan Union that evoked curiosity of passersby as it crossed Machhiwara and nearby villages around noon on Saturday.
