BUS BUDGET BATTLE: UF tells Gainesville mayor threats of closures are unnecessary and unhelpful

The University of Florida has proposed a month-to-month agreement with the city for bus transportation for students, staff and faculty. The Gainesville mayor says that would slash about $6.8 million from the bus budget and threaten other funding.
