SENTENCED: Bolton Crown Court
A BURY man has been sentenced to four years in jail after kidnapping a woman from her home.
Connor Hamer, of Wash Lane Terrace, Bury, visited the woman's house near Morecambe late on June 3 last year after an argument over dogs and puppies that they shared ownership of.
The woman was outside smoking a cigarette when Hamer, 27, arrived at her property saying he was going to take the puppies but he then "changed tack" and became aggressive towards her.
She ran up the drive to try and get away but Hamer caught her and grabbed her by her hair and started punching her, dragging her up the drive, which left her with a fractured finger and grazing.
