BOSTON, May 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Burns & Levinson has closed a $4.2 million seed investment from Velocity Partners, Relativity Healthcare Fund and Big Pi Ventures for Anodyne Nanotech, Inc., a Boston-based biotechnology company developing differentiated, transdermal forms of high-value drugs. The investment will help expand the company's Hero Patch™ platform, which uses microneedle technology to deliver clinically meaningful doses of macromolecules and small molecules. The deal, which closed on April 8, was led by Josef Volman, who co-chairs the firm's Business Law Group, and Emmanuel Johnson.
