New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget for the financial year 2020-21 on February 1, 2020. The Budget is crucial for the government as it comes at a time when the economy needs a much-needed boost after dealing with serious blows due to the pandemic. 
FM Sitharaman on Saturday commenced the final stage of Union Budget 2021 by attending the customary ‘halwa’ ceremony. As a part of the over-70-year-old ritual, the sweet dish was prepared in a huge kadhai and served to the entire staff at the finance ministry, North Block.
