It wasn't quite the "band of heavy snow" that the Met Office predicted would fall on Bucks, but nevertheless, the county did wake up to a light covering of the white stuff.
The snow showers seemed to be at their peak while everyone was asleep, with photos from the Bucks Free Press Camera Club showing the scene looking pretty magical at around 5am.

But by 9am, much of the covering seemed to have melted - particularly on the roads and pavements.
