Bucks for Kids was presented a $1,400 donation from Makefield Women’s Association. Although the organization could not hold its annual Designer Bag Bingo, members rallied together and raised money in other ways for distribution to the charitable organization.
With the Makefield Women’s Association contribution, kids and teens served by Bucks County Children and Youth may experience enrichment activities that are supported with sports fees, music and art lessons, academic tutoring, clothing, summer camp, school trips, electronics and higher education expenses such as books and supplies.
Since 1991, the all-volunteer organization has provided financial assistance to this vulnerable population. For information about Bucks for Kids, visit bucksforkids.org.
