Brian Harries, who has died at the age of 77.
THE AMMAN Valley is mourning the loss of Brynaman cinema stalwart Brian Harries who has died suddenly at the age of 77.
Tributes have poured in for Brian, who was the cinema’s managing director and chairman of the public hall and institute.
Brian began work as a projectionist in Cwmllynfell when he is just 15 before moving on to the cinema where he remained as the driving force behind the cinema for more than 50 years.
Leading the tributes, a statement from the public hall said: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Brian Harries.
