Brush fire burns 35 acres, 70% contained; Maui Veterans Highway now OPEN : Maui Now

A fire near the Maui Veterans Highway burned an estimated 35 acres and was 70% contained at last report. The fire was first reported just before 2 p.m. The highway was reopened at 4:39 p.m.
