On Saturday, Surat Police, after receiving a tip-off, busted an alleged human trafficking racket by arresting three people from Kamrej town, and rescued the 17-year-old Bangladeshi girl.

Those arrested have been identified as Mijanur alias Shariful Shailk (36), his wife Ajmira Khatun (32) and agent Murtuza Shaikh (31) – all nationals of Bangladesh.
The husband-wife duo had planned to force the 17-year-old girl into prostitution to make money.
Further investigations into the matter are underway.
