During the weekly COVID briefing March 31, County Health officials said they expected the number of doses being sent to the county to continue to increase. 1,170 of Pfizer vaccines are now being given typically in a week, and the county says it wants to double that number at the mass vaccination site at the SUNY Broome Ice Center. Over the past week, Broome County has been hiring part-time workers to help with checking people in to the POD and entering data.
