Brookline embraces its 'unofficial mascot' — the turkey — in new public art project

Brookline plans to install 10 life-size turkey sculptures in town squares like Coolidge Corner, Brookline Village and Washington Square to bring "a touch of whimsy and charm” to the area. The town is also offering $1,000 to local artists to paint and design the sculptures.
