Brookline’s First Light a hit, despite COVID restrictions

Brookline rang in the holiday season — virtually — last week with the town’s annual First Light Celebration.
Given restrictions surrounding COVID-19, the festival was moved to a completely online platform, and local businesses took a different approach from years past to ensure Brookline residents' safety while still keeping the festival's tradition alive.
Instead of the celebration taking place over the course of one day, like in years past, First Light was a week-long extravaganza starting Dec. 3 and ending at midnight on Dec. 10. This extra time gave businesses the chance to get a bit more creative.
