After the popular Broadway series at Elmira's Clemens Center for the Performing Arts was derailed last spring by the COVID-19 pandemic, it will return this fall with five new productions, plus two shows that were canceled last year.
As pandemic-related restrictions continue to ease, Clemens Center officials hope the facility will be open at full capacity when the new season launches in mid-October.
The last touring Broadway production took place in March 2020 before the venue had to cancel the rest of that season as the pandemic took hold.
Two of the shows that were canceled will be back, along with new offerings, said Clemens Center Executive Director Karen Cromer.
