Britain's 'kindest' plumber has citizen award rescinded after trader faked stories about helping vulnerable people and pocketed £10k in donations

James Anderson , 56, was given the honour in 2023 for his work offering free plumbing services to those in need but revelations over his fake charity work led British Citizen Awards to take back their award.
