The crossing will close at 7 a.m. Jan. 4, with the work expected to continue through the evening of Jan. 17, Jupiter town officials announced this week. The closure will extend from Alternate A1A west to Evergrene Parkway.
Brightline crews are working to complete railroad crossing upgrades as part of the high-speed rail line's expansion project connecting South Florida to Orlando International Airport.
Similar work has already occurred at rail crossings on Indiantown Road and Frederick Small Road in Jupiter, at Hood Road in Palm Beach Gardens and at Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach.
