Detroit City FC has a new beer to call its own.
Brew Detroit has unveiled its latest brew in partnership with the professional soccer club, called Smoke Delay IPA, a 4.8% session IPA dry-hopped with Mosaic and Lotus hops.
It's available now at the contract brewer's Detroit taproom, will hit the market in cans next week and be available in time for Detroit City FC's men's home opener May 1 at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck.
Brew Detroit and Detroit City FC had asked fans in early February to name their next beer as the men's and women's teams prepared a return to the pitch this year. They previously released Bring Out Your Dead, also a crushable session IPA.
