Work on the Brent Spence Bridge starts Monday, so prepare for months-long lane closures and traffic snarls.
Routine maintenance on the bridge – including cleaning and painting – will begin on March 1, officials said.
"The project will require various lane closures on the bridge, as well as the closure of several ramps that provide access to the bridge," officials said.
Officials expect the project will be completed by Nov. 15.
Here's what to expect starting Monday
Starting Monday night, lanes will be closed headed northbound.
Officials said at 8 p.m., the two westernmost lanes of I-71/75 northbound across the bridge will be closed. This pattern will remain in place for Phase 1 of the maintenance project.
