BREAKING: Ondo State High Court Stops Inauguration Of Caretaker Committees For Local Councils By Governor Akeredolu, Others

The Ondo State High Court has ordered the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu-led government to stop the inauguration of Caretaker committee for Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas. The court in a ruling by Justice Yemi Fasanmi, granted the prayer for interlocutory injunction by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday. The court restrained the inauguration of any person or persons as caretaker committee in any local government or local council development area pending the determination of the substantive suit.
