Brazil:Senate approves increase honor crime´s penalties against women

Brasilia, Mar 9 (Prensa Latina) The Brazilian Senate approved a bill that increases by one third the penalties for crimes against honor (slander, injury and defamation) reportedly committed against women, due to their gender.
