Brandy's Cinderella movie finally coming to Disney Plus

Released as a television movie in 1997, it saw singer and
Moesha star Brandy play the titular princess. She falls for a prince and frees herself from the control of her two mean-spirited stepsisters and wicked stepmother with the help of a Fairy Godmother, played by the late Whitney Houston.
Mozart in the Jungle's Bernadette Peters and Whoopi Goldberg also starred.
Despite receiving lukewarm reviews at the time, the outing received several accolades and was nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards including 'Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special'.
Over the years, it's been praised for its colour-blind casting and gone on to become somewhat of a cult classic.
