A HIGH-end delicatessen is to open its doors in Poole, having taken inspiration from Harrods and Selfridges.
Nicholas James Delicatessen will officially open on Tuesday, July 27 on Station Road, Ashley Cross. The deli will replace Isabel’s Restaurant, which closed in January after more than 40 years of trading.
The deli’s manager Pierre Van Wyk told the Daily Echo that the Ashley Cross store would hopefully be the first of many, and that they couldn’t wait to begin trading.
He said: “This is a high-end and high-quality delicatessen with lots of local produce that we’re sure people will enjoy. We will be selling products that you won’t find anywhere other than the likes of Harrods and Selfridges.
