YOUNGSTERS from a Bradford theatre school appeared in the Christmas special of hit TV drama All Creatures Great and Small.
Students from Articulate Drama School & Agency had fun in the Dales on the set of the popular Channel 5 show about country vet James Herriot. Edith Smith, six, who plays young Maisy Rudd, said: “It was fun, I had to act upset when Mr Herriot said our cow was poorly. In the Christmas special I played an angel in the Nativity scenes. The best bit was getting to sing carols together, it felt like it was Christmas.”
Annabelle Anderson, 12, said: “’I met Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter, he was so friendly. I had to cut my hair short for the show as it’s set in the olden days.” Albert Whitehead, eight, played one of the Wise Men: “It wasn’t Christmas when it was filmed, but the crew and director helped us get into the Christmas mood.”
