A local Independent councillor has asked the council to report on what action is being taken to protect and preserve the historical architectural and natural structures in Brackenstown Woods.
Cllr Joe Newman also called for a progress report on any works undertaken 'in the last couple of months' to protect the erosion of the bridge structures at this location.
Cllr Newman raised his motion at a recent Local Area Committee meeting.
Speaking at the Local Area Committee meeting, Cllr Newman said there were a number of very important structures and architectural engineering that need to be protected at the site.
