Boyfriend charged in killing of Tiffany Osborne whose body was found under a mattress

The boyfriend of a Midfield woman whose decomposing body was found under an old mattress in Bessemer is now charged in her death.
Bessemer and Midfield police on Thursday announced that Cedric Earl Watts Jr., 36, is charged with murder in the death of Tiffany Osborne. The 30-year-old mother vanished Feb. 17 and her remains were discovered in April in an industrial area of off Lakeshore Parkway.
Watts has been in the Jefferson County Jail since Nov. 9 on an unrelated probation violation charge. He will now be held without bond in Osborne’s death.
