The Boyertown Community Ambulance Service celebrated 80 years of service Saturday with renewal of commitment to the community.Â
Members of BCAS renewed their pledge âto provide comfort and care, when our community callsâ during a family-friendly celebration that included a pig roast, music, awards ceremony and unveiling of a new sign outside BCAS headquarters on South Chestnut Street in the borough.
The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dr. Robert D. Machamer Jr., pastor of St. Johnâs Evangelical Lutheran Church of Boyertown.
