Starting June 4, Texas schools will no longer be allowed to require masks, per an executive order signed by Gov. Greg Abbott earlier this month.
Currently, public schools in Bexar County require students and staff to wear masks indoors, and some were planning to continue the mandate through the summer.

It would be nice to have a governor who wasn't so blatantly trying to promote himself politically with every move he makes. A leader who genuinely understands and cares about both sides of an issue would be refreshing. But obviously not realistic.
