Bourbon backed by Peyton Manning and Andy Roddick lands in Texas this week
The master distiller describes Sweetens Cove Bourbon as ‘Tennessee’s Pappy Van Winkle.’
As the story goes, visitors to Sweetens Cove Golf Club in Tennessee would take a shot of whiskey before the first hole. After athletes Peyton Manning, Andy Roddick and others took ownership of Sweetens Cove Golf Club, they decided to have a bourbon made with the Sweetens Cove name. The bourbon becomes available in Texas for the first time starting April 21, 2021.(Courtesy of Sweetens Cove)
