Bottled water contains quarter of a million nanoplastics pieces on average, scientists find

Potential risks to health remain unclear, but researchers say nanoplastics contain more than 100 cancer-causing chemicals - and those involved in the study say they are reducing their consumption of bottled water after their shocking discoveries from typical 1-litre samples.
