Born out of dream after death of George Floyd, woman opens bookshop highlighting BIPOC authors

Black Garnet Books, a new Black-owned bookstore on University Avenue in St. Paul, is changing the narrative, carrying books by authors of color who the owner says are often excluded from the realm of literature.
