Boost to ties with Kenya

MUSCAT: State Council Chairman Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Mantheri received Issa Abdullah al Tamami, Governor of Lamu, Kenya, and his accompanying delegation at the Council premises.
The Chairman warmly welcomed the visitors, wished them a pleasant stay, and hoped the visit would accomplish the desired objectives.
He praised the good relations that link the Sultanate and Kenya, particularly political, cultural and economic.
He further said, “Oman has close historical and cultural linkages with Kenya. Such mutual visits contribute substantially to strengthen these relationships and expand the avenues of cooperation and benefit the common interests of people of these two friendly countries.”
