Boone Community Theatre debuts musical May 13

The Boone Community Theatre will perform “The Last of the Dragons” for the first time in Boone on May 13. Several locals were involved in writing the script, music and lyrics. A family-friendly show, the play is a musical comedy.
“There is a young prince in one kingdom and a princess in another. She needs to be married, so they’re trying to team the two of them up. I don’t want to give too much away. They’re just not your traditional prince and princess,” said Director Susan Herrick.
