“Wouldn’t it be nice,” Bonnie Curtis said as she harkened back to her childhood days when East Arlington residents could walk to the IGA to pick something up for dinner or grab a treat at the candy shop or wander through Candle Mill Village.
Wanting to bring some conveniences back to their community, Bonnie Curtis and Clyde Baker, both southern Vermont natives, decided to change “wouldn’t it be nice,” into “isn’t it nice,” by purchasing the property on the corner of Old Mill Road and Sunderland Hill Road in East Arlington.
