Boko Haram terrorists have killed Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters in Sunawa village, a border area with the Niger Republic, according to Al Thabat, an al-Qaida-affiliated media outfit.
In a statement yesterday in Maiduguri, Al Thabat, disclosed that the battle occurred after ISWAP abducted dozens of Boko Haram women.

The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig-Gen. Mohammed Yerima, disclosed this yesterday in Maiduguri, Borno State.
“ISWAP broke off from the Abubakar Shekau-led Boko Haram in 2016. Since then, a bitter war of attrition and violent confrontations have been occurring between the factions of terror,” Yerima said.
