Body found in Arizona Canal near 15th and Dunlap avenues

A body was found in the Arizona Canal on Thursday morning in Phoenix, fire officials say.
Phoenix firefighters were called to the canal near 15th and Dunlap avenues by a Maricopa County Flood Control representative, said department spokesperson Capt. Todd Keller.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department responded and took over the investigation, Keller said.
A spokesperson for the department said it is a death investigation at this time, with no obvious signs of foul play. Death will be determined by the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner.
